Love the ending. I actually laughed at how you made me smile while living in bizzaro world. My husband loves the Twilight Zone so next time he worries about my anxiety I may have to quote you and say you know Rod Serling is not coming around the corner. š¤£ā¤ļø
Ha! Well, Iām glad I could make you laugh, Mary. I love the Twilight Zone, too. If only we were in an episode, that would make so much more sense š Hugs!
Those are the type of monkey bars I was using when I bit my tongue halfway off at Grafton State Park, Grafton, NY. No cell phones back then ā My father raced to the hospital while my mother held an article of clothing against my mouth/tongue because there was so much blood.
Iām so glad your tongue healed up. My son is just fine, thank you so much āŗļø The elbow break was twelve years ago (heās a sophomore in college now and has broken his wrist and a finger since then, and also had a hairline fracture in his foot - I have been through it, Leslie!) But he healed up well from all of it and is a classical guitarist and none of the breaks have stopped him, thankfully. Heās studying psychology, but he really is talented on that guitar so it was a concern, but heās good! My daughter had a head injury on one of those bumble bee rides. Theyāre on a sort of big spring? They can hold two kids and my son was behind her (she was about 18 months old) and they got going too fast and she lurched forward and smashed the space between her eyebrows on the metal bar. An egg sprouted in 2 seconds, it was unbelievable. I thought I was going to have a heart attack right there. But sheās okay, too. I donāt know how we survive childhood or motherhood or any of it, frankly, but we seem to! Sending you love and hugs. Thank you so much for being here, I appreciate you ā¤ļø

Oh my gosh that sounds so painful and I also feel terrible for your parents!! The absolute stress and horror when your child gets hurt that way š©š©š©
