Friends, first let me say I’m very excited to be taking a group of amazing yogis to San Miguel de Allende June 24 -July 1st, 2025, and if you’d like to come, there is one available room with a king size bed and en suite bathroom. So, ideally this would be a room for a couple, or a set of best friends, a mother and daughter, two brothers if you’re watching this season of White Lotus, or two very adventurous people.

I have been longing to go to San Miguel de Allende for quite some time. It is known as a tiny gem of a town in Mexico that has attracted writers and artists from the states for decades because of its cobblestone streets and European vibe, its high altitude and ideal climate (dry heat, cooler nights), its museums, churches, art galleries, hot springs, vineyards, and beautiful architecture. It was Travel and Leisure’s number one city to visit in 2021, and almost always makes its top 3 in the world. Here’s why:

This is where we’ll be staying, in El Centro, the historic center of town - a UNESCO World Heritage site. We will visit the museums and art galleries, the gardens and churches, we’ll shop in the local markets and sample some of the restaurants - though we will have our own private in-house cooks! We will also be going to the hot springs, and a winery, though not on the same day.

The cost is $2850/person double occupancy. If you are dying to have a king-size bed to yourself, please email me and we can talk about it :)

What this includes:

All yoga, meals (except Sunday, we will go out for lunch and dinner that day) and excursions, and your transfer to and from Queretaro International Airport (1 hour away) or BJX Airport (90 minutes away).

This does not include:

Travel insurance, airfare, alcoholic beverages, additional amenities (like massage), or meals out.

Lastly, you might have noticed these are the same dates I was heading to Croatia. After careful consideration with the people who’ve signed up (some of my favorite people in the world), it felt less stressful to stay a little closer to home this year. San Miguel de Allende is a community that has a very large ex-pat community and is, thankfully, very welcoming of Americans even now. I know this is such a stressful time for all of us, but the very last thing anyone needs to be worrying about is a yoga retreat.
