This piece reminded what today means and a roadtrip next week. I admire how you’ve managed the bumps in the road, and here you are.
My daughter said to me today (on going with me), she’s bringing all of the love that she can, she understands people are frayed, exhausted and emotions all over the place, “We’re damaged people, but I love my family “. I am ready to drop kick them, I’ll try it her way. This time.
I hope y’all have a wonderful trip together. My mom and I had a complicated relationship but I’d give just about anything for some more time with her 🤍
